Details: Synopsis With Christmas approaching, Paolo, an established professional, plans to send his wife Francesca and son on a ski holiday so that he can devote himself undisturbed to his lover Magda. A mishap seems to mess up his plans, and things get even more complicated when his brother-in-law Felice attempts suicide after being dumped by his girlfriend. With cynical opportunism, Paul sees the solution to his problems precisely in the suffering of his brother-in-law. Paolo offers to accompany him on vacation to distract him from his amorous sufferings: in reality his plan is to abandon him to his fate and have fun with his lover, to whom he in turn promises a splendid cruise to the Caribbean, without however mentioning the presence of the brother in law.
